Sowind Group, the parent company of independent luxury watch brands Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin, has been recognised by Deloitte Private as one of Switzerland’s Best Managed Companies for the third consecutive year.
The latest recognition follows the Group’s landmark achievement in 2024, when it became the first company in Switzerland’s luxury industry to receive the distinction. It successfully retained the title in 2025 and again in 2026.
The Deloitte Private Best Managed Companies programme recognises Switzerland’s leading private companies based on their performance across strategy, management quality, innovation and corporate culture. The Swiss programme is part of Deloitte’s global Best Managed Companies initiative, which has been established in more than 40 countries worldwide over the past 30 years.
Patrick Pruniaux, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Sowind Group, said the recognition reflects the company’s entrepreneurial culture and long-term vision.
“I am particularly honoured to receive this distinction for the third consecutive year. It recognises the strength of a business model built on agility, adaptability, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership across the organisation. In an industry that is constantly evolving, our ability to remain focused on long-term objectives and continuously challenge ourselves is a key factor in our success.”
“While our size allows us to stay agile, our success ultimately depends on the entrepreneurial mindset shared throughout the Company,” he continued. “Everyone is encouraged to look beyond their immediate responsibilities, take initiative and contribute to the continued evolution of the Group. This collective engagement, combined with a clear strategic vision, enables us to keep progressing while remaining true to our values and heritage.”
The company said the award highlights the strength of its business model, its resilience in a challenging business environment and its ambition to continue developing its two historic watch manufactures.
Located in the Swiss Jura mountains, Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin together represent more than 400 years of watchmaking heritage. Among the oldest independent manufactures in haute horlogerie, the two maisons have contributed to the evolution of the industry through technical innovation and distinctive design while preserving traditional Swiss craftsmanship.
Today, around 400 artisans and experts work across the Group, combining centuries-old expertise with contemporary watchmaking to produce high-end mechanical timepieces.
